May 2024: Expanding Our Mission
It has always been our intention to be more than a “hotel for pilgrims” arriving in Santiago. While we want to give any guest who spends time with us the best possible experience, as our mission states, we strive to offer more than hospitality. We want to be an ecumenical place that offers healing, hope, learning and love. In recent weeks, we have made progress both on the ecumenical front and in the ministry of healing, hope and love.

Holy Week 2024 greetings from Nancy Mead, President
Holy Week, known as Semana Santa in Spain, holds a special place in my heart. It was on my first Camino that I came to know and love this ancient and unique Spanish tradition. Twenty four years ago on this day, I attended the Palm Sunday Mass and procession at the monastery in Roncesvalles.

Greetings from Rhode Island. Board member Edie Morrill and I have just returned from an amazing walk on the Camino Portuguese Route with a group spanning four decades in age. The 82-year-old in our group was an inspiration to us all. Several people said to themselves, “If Carol can do it, so can I.” You’ll be hearing more about our trip on future blogs.
