Sungjin Lee, Anglican Church of Korea

Walking the Camino Frances from St. Jean Pied de Port, beginning March 31

"Hi there. My name is Sungjin Lee and I am studying to become a priest in the Anglican Church of Korea. Firstly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to go on a pilgrimage to Santiago.

"Actually, the Anglican Church is very small in Korea. As a student preparing to be a priest, I feel a great mission along with a lot of anxiety. Through this pilgrimage, I hope to deeply feel God's providence in my life. My pilgrimage will begin on 31 March 2023. I hope you will pray for me and the Anglican Church of Korea, and I pray in advance that the joy of the Resurrection that I will encounter during my pilgrimage will fill the entire global Anglican community. Thank you." - Sungjin

Lisa and her husband spent the last four years searching for memoirs and documentaries about the Camino de Santiago. It is a dream come true for Lisa to have the opportunity to walk the Camino de Santiago as part of her formation to become a priest. She is eager to experience the Camino de Santiago knowing that it is a place of reflection, growth, and community.
