Dean Robert Willis (1947—2024), Rest in Peace

Dear Friends,

Fletcher Banner contacted me last Wednesday morning to say that his partner and our Friends’ Board member had died suddenly the evening before.

Robert finished his earthly pilgrimage on October 22 in New Haven, CT, while staying at Berkley Divinity School.

Robert was a frequent visitor to Casa Anglicana where he and Fletcher were known for their hospitality and care of pilgrims both at the house and each afternoon at Santa Susana.

The funeral service for Dean Robert Willis will take place at Christ Church, New Haven, on November 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM ET. The Right Reverend Michael Curry will preside. The service will be live-streamed at https://www.christchurchnh.org/

We give thanks for his time on our board and for the wisdom he brought to our meetings. To Fletcher, we send our sincere condolences.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
